TEMOFESZT - 10th INTERNATIONAL TECHNICAL MODEL TRAIN FESTIVAL

10_temofeszt_cover_v1-768x432.jpg

Between October 20 and 22, TEMOFESZT, Central and Eastern Europe’s biggest railway model exhibition, opens its doors for the 10th time in the Hungarian Railway Museum (Magyar Vasúttörténeti Park) for those who are interested in professional railway modelling.
The event offers several interesting programmes to its visitors: besides the regular and plotting boards of almost every size a wide range of RC vehicles are presented such as trucks, tanks and machines. This year’s newness is the railway built of LEGO® bricks.
We recommend this program to railway lovers, those who are eager for it or families, as everyone can find a part of this colourful world which grabs their attention.

M2 SANTA CLAUS EXPRESS DEPARTS FROM THE BUDAPEST-NYUGATI STATION TO THE RAILWAY MUSEUM

7-8-9th DECEMBER 2018

IF SANTA CLAUS, THEN IT’S RAILWAY MUSEUM TIME!

Poszt kép_M2 Mikulás Expressz.jpg

Each year the M2 Santa Claus Express makes its way from Budapest Nyugati Railway Station to the Hungarian Railway Museum accompanied by sparkling children’s eyes and smiling faces. This year, the traditional Santa Claus event will be held again in the beginning of December, at the end of Tatai Street, Budapest.

The event offers a lot of excitement and fun for children of all ages: they can travel with a steam locomotive adorned with Christmas decor, they will be accompanied by elves to the place of the fabulous Santa Claus and Advent ceremony in the Orient Hall of the Hungarian Railway Museum, followed by the celebration where Santa Claus will have the main role! In addition, Santa will need some help this year, as well, since his elves have pinched a few things without which Christmas would be incomplete!

On the stage of the Orient Hall, Fruzsina Kovácsovics and her band will be waiting for the children and - of course - the Big Beard. Santa Claus will be arriving into the hall with a gorgeous iron horse to greet every child with a few nice words and a small present. After handing out the Christmas packages, there will be a possibility to take a photo with him and his chief elf.

Besides, children can meet Süsü, the dragon and TV Teddy Bear, also, they can peak into Teddy’s Room, draw on the giant colouring board and can try what it is like to be the news anchor of Hetedhét Adventures!

Besides the above, the Orient Hall will be offering a number of exciting activities for children, along with further Advent surprises and point collection spots.
